Standard #11: ISTE Standards for Teachers
Artifact #1: Cliptomize Projects
Design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessments 2(a): Design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity.
Description: Students used an online scrapbooking website to create a visual representation of how each of the special quadrilaterals were related to one another. Quadrilaterals can be arranged in a flow chart moving from least specific, Quadrilaterals, to most specific, Squares. Students were using this website to describe and show these relationships.
Rationale: I believe this experience fulfills this standard because it allowed students to fulfill the requirements of the project, accurately describing the relationships between the special quadrilaterals, while allowing them all the freedom they wanted with how they showed these relationships.

Artifact #2: Email Communications
Model digital age work and learnings 3(b): Collaborate with students, peers, parents, and community members using digital tools and resources to support student success
Description: Throughout the semester I communicated with students and other teachers frequently through email. Students submitted exit tickets through email to which they would get feedback also through email. Students completed their model projects after receiving emails with scanned copies of their blueprints with feedback on both their blueprints and the rubric attached. Students who struggled more with the course work often emailed me with questions to which they would receive emails with either an explanation or clarification in a written email, or step by step math problems explained and done out as an attachment. I also communicated with other teachers regarding the development of a project, advice on student feedback, and professional development events at the school.
Rationale: I believe this experience fulfills this standard because it demonstrates that I was able to effectively communicate with both other teachers and students for the benefit of my classroom. By communicating with students through email, I was able to address concerns of theirs outside of the classroom, freeing up time to work on other things in class and clarifying things for students before they get lost in the next section. It gave students experience communicating professionally online as well.
